MMRS Steering Committee Meetings for 2010

I am happy to report I had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Smalligan last week and we have tentatively scheduled the following dates for the 2010 MMRS Steering Committee meetings: June 10 August 26 November 4 We’ll meet from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at a location to be determined. Please place these dates/times on your calendar. We will continue to utilize the following broad categories for the agenda: 1. Approval of minutes 2. Update on world, national, state, regional and local events that have local plan implications 3. Healthcare After Action 4. Exercising and training 5. Future meetings Our primary focus this year will be reviewing and revising Annex H. I hope to e-mail the revised annex at least a week prior to the meeting. After action will include discussion on the following: H1N1, winter storm, and Bushland explosion. Due to the time of the season, we will have a discussion on severe weather.
